Lubbock's brand new Champs Sports Bar & Grill, at 4525 Milwaukee Avenue, has permanently closed their doors, according to their Facebook page.
Their final Facebook post came on March 19th, promoting that they were open for business, with a 50-person capacity. But now, the space is empty and devoid of signage.

We know a lot went into building this space, and we had just reported on their opening for in November 2019, so we're sorry to see that they've already closed.
There were plenty of big screens and a huge patio to hang out on with friends. Plus, they boasted patio games, cold drinks and a tasty menu. Sounds like an all-around good time to be had.
We hope things will turn around for the owners and staff, and wish them all the best.
