Carrie Underwood and her tourmates Maddie & Tae and Runaway June perform a very special medley during her current Cry Pretty Tour 360, paying tribute to the classic women of country music. Click the video above to watch them team up in tribute to Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood and more.

The footage above was captured during a show at Legacy Arena at the BJCC in Birmingham, Ala., on May 3, which was actually just the second date of the tour. Underwood and her tourmates already sound very polished and well-rehearsed as they run through a string of country classics from the female artists who helped pave the way for them, including "Stand By Your Man," "Coal Miner's Daughter," "Why Haven't I Heard From You," "She's in Love With the Boy" and more.

Runaway June consists of Naomi Cooke, Hannah Mulholland and Jennifer Wayne, and they've been attracting a growing amount of attention with the release of their latest single, "Buy My Own Drinks." Taste of Country first took notice of the trio in 2017, when we named them as one of the inaugural class of RISERS alongside Brett Young and more.

The Hottest Country Tours to See in Summer 2019:

Maddie & Tae have matured both musically and personally since they debuted with "Girl in a Country Song" as teens in 2014. They recently released a new EP, One Heart to Another.

Underwood launched her Cry Pretty Tour 360 in Greensboro, N.C., on May 1, and the road trek runs through Oct. 31 before wrapping in Detroit, Mich. The tour is in support of her current album, Cry Pretty, which has already scored hits with its title song and "Love Wins." Underwood's current single is "Southbound."

Underwood is proud to do her part to expose rising female country acts to a wider audience.

“I think it was definitely on my mind,” she tells Pollstar. “But really, I’m the kind of person who’s competitive, who wants to put on the best show I can! That’s a lot of what I’m thinking about. I want to support talent, and yes, they’re all women, but these artists are very talented at what they do. You look at my audience, you see tons of little girls. Why wouldn’t they want to see other super-talented young women?”
