Lubbock County Constable Arrested for DWI Over Weekend
Lubbock County Constable for Precinct 4 Carelton Jenson Peterson, also known as CJ, was arrested and booked into the Lubbock County jail Sunday morning for a DWI.
Everything Lubbock reports that Peterson was booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center around 8 a.m. Sunday (May 6) and was released on a $1,500 bond around 12:45 p.m. that same day.
According to the police report, a witness stated that Peterson was “flying” westbound in the 5200 block of 50th Street before hitting a curb and crashing into two parked cars.
This is not Peterson’s first DWI. Back in 2010, Peterson was arrested for DWI charges while working as a Hockley County Sheriff’s Deputy. After being placed on administrative leave, Peterson resigned.
