Big 12 Releases Conference Basketball Schedule

The Big 12 Conference revealed the men's basketball league schedule for the 2016-17 season on Thursday.

Texas Tech will have 17 conference games on an ESPN channel, with the sole FOX Sports Southwest game being TCU in Lubbock.

The Big 12 schedule consists of an 18-game, home and home round robin schedule.

The Red Raiders open the Big 12 schedule in Ames, Iowa against Iowa State on December 30, 2016.

The Big 12 home opener will be against West Virginia on January 3, 2017.

Starting January 21, 2017, Texas Tech begins a great home stand, bringing in Oklahoma State, LSU, Oklahoma and Kansas, and LSU as part of the SEC/Big 12 Challenge.

Senior day will feature Texas coming to Lubbock on March 1, 2017.

The Red Raiders conclude the regular season at Kansas State on March 4, 2017, leading into the Big 12 Tournament at the Sprint Center in Kansas City.
