Up-and-Coming Australian Country Artist Morgan Evans Is Coming to Lubbock

Chris Young is bringing two young artists with him on his extended Losing Sleep tour stop here in Lubbock on September 14th: Kane Brown, and Australian artist Morgan Evans.

While Kane Brown has already made a name for himself here in the U.S., we're looking to fill in some of the questions you may have about the other new artist on the tour, Morgan Evans.

Evans' career has been growing steadily over the past 10 years, when in 2007 he won the Road to Tamworth competition and was awarded a trip to Nashville to record according to Wikipedia. 

Additionally, Evans has won several Australian CMC Awards, including Male Artist of The Year for two consecutive years. In 2014, his self-titled debut album peaked at number 20 on the ARIA Albums Chart, and in December of 2017 he tied the knot with Kelsea Ballerini in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The couple now live in Nashville.

His latest single, "I Do," has his new bride in mind and was released the same month as their wedding.

So if you thought his name sounded familiar, now you know why. No doubt we'll be hearing much more from this promising rising country star.
