Atmos Energy Assists in Gas Leak at Texas Tech
Just before 1 p.m. Friday afternoon, the Texas Tech University Police Department sent out an emergency notification saying a natural gas leak had occurred near the biology building on campus.
The public was warned to stay away from the biology building while this was all going on.
KAMC News reports that Atmos Energy assisted with the leak.
At around 1:15 p.m., Texas Tech had issued an all-clear.
It's believed that no one was injured in any way due to the leak.
