Alligator Attack on Houston Lake Has Residents Concerned for Their Safety
A 13-year old boy named Kaleb Hurley was bit in the arm and his father James Hurley was bit in the leg when he attempted to save his son during an alligator attack near Houston.
Click 2 Houston reports the incident happened in Chambers County at Lake Charlotte.
According to the report, the boy was cooling off in waist-deep water after fishing when the alligator latched onto his arm. At one point, he was even pulled under the water.
His father James Hurley was bit in the leg trying to help, eventually kicking the gator away. Both were flown by Life Flight to a local hospital. Both the father and son are expected to recover.
