Aaron Watson Reschedules Lubbock Show, Will Play Live at Cook’s Garage in July
Texas Country great Aaron Watson will be live at Cook's Garage on July 31st, 2020. We are so glad he was able to circle back around for a terrific show.
His concert was originally scheduled on April 18th, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
One look at the "Outta Style" singer's tour schedule on his website, and you can see he's a very busy man.
He just earned the honor of joining the Class of 2020 in the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame. Plus, he was honored with the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame's 2020 Spirit of Texas Award.
A big congratulations to this Texas proud success story.
He said the award was very special to him. He holds close to his roots and says two things have most defined his career: Texas and cowboys. Watson shares the story on his website, where he acknowledges and gives more insight into what makes him such a tremendous Texas artist:
If I can look back and think of the two things that have defined my career more than anything else — it’s Texas and cowboys, I’ve always said my music isn’t about honors and awards, but this one is special.
His latest album, Red Bandana, is in part a tribute to the working cowboy with the bandana, and a tribute to his great friend and mentor, the late Texas cowboy poet Red Steagall. The song he inspired is "Riding with Red." A song with a powerful message that reminds us not to take loved ones for granted.
Watson's tremendous Texas spirit, heart and soul pours into his music. That's why it's so easy to love his music.
Make plans for this exciting show on July 31st at Cook's Garage. Tickets start at $20, and doors open at 7 p.m. You can follow this link for tickets and details. We'll see y'all there!
