It's a great big lineup for the Blue Light Street Party this weekend.

Read Southall, Kody West and Slade Coulter are getting set to perform Saturday, September 5th, 2020.

It's time for a night out and the organizers have stepped up in every way to accommodate making this a safe and enjoyable time. The venue has been built up and now more folks can be near the stage and the band has more room to move.

The Blue Light stage has been extended to allow for more social distancing. They stress the importance of following guidelines for their live shows.

Here's what they shared on their website:

Come enjoy a night under the stars on Buddy Holly Avenue directly in front of The Blue Light Live. We have extended the stage further down Buddy Holly Avenue towards 17th Street to allow space to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Please adhere to these guidelines to allow us to stay open and continue to enjoy music in the Depot District. Please bring a lawn chair with you. Special sections will be marked off for groups of 6-8 to keep crowds from forming. Please wear a mask when not seated.

There's nothing like great live music on a beautiful evening outside under a blanket of West Texas stars, so make plans to get out to enjoy this great big night.

Read Southall brings Southern Rock and 'Crunchy Country,' otherwise known as 'Oklahoma Music,' to the stage for us according to their Facebook page. And Lubbock's own Slade Coulter has some tremendous original Texas Country to share.

Advance tickets start at $20 and $25. The gates open at 6:30 p.m., and music hits the state at 7:30 p.m. Follow this link for tickets and details.
