The Texas Tech recruiting class for 2019 currently sits at 17 commits, with a few big targets still remaining and a PWO. Let's take a look at the high school seniors that have committed to Texas Tech and see how their teams are doing heading into week three of the football season.

Steven Parker, a four-star defensive end who committed to Texas Tech back in May of 2017, plays for South Oak Cliff. Parker is a leading tackler on the team. Here's a highlight video that features a bunch of sacks:

Gilbert Ibeneme is another defensive end that plays for the Pearland Oilers. Ibeneme has dominated early. Here are some highlights of Ibeneme vs Cypress Springs playing DE and DT:

Trevor Roberson is a tower of a man who plays offensive tackle for the Wellington Rockets. Wellington has seen a lot of offensive success early behind the offensive line anchored by Robertson. Through 5 games Roberson had 26 pancake blocks. Before the season, Robertson was listed as the 5th best OT in Texas:

La'Vontae Shenault is a wide receiver for DeSoto High School. In his first game, he had six catches for more than 100 yards and a touchdown in a win for the DeSoto Eagles. He's been even more dynamic since. Here are some highlights from the 38-28 victory over Permian:

Maverick McIvor is a highly sought after quarterback recruit who is unfortunately done for the year after a knee injury in the second game of the season. Here's a collection of highlights from his Junior season at San Angelo Central:

Alex Hogan, a defensive back out of Lamar High School, who was in the Lonestar prospects top 10 best cornerbacks list. Hogan piles up the stat sheet on all three sides of the ball, with receptions, tackles, an interception and kick and punt return yards. He even takes snaps as the wildcat QB. I don't want to undersell his commitment to special teams here, he's not just a returner. Hogan has also blocked two FGs. Here are some mid-year highlights from the do-it-all defender:

Brandon Joseph, another defender, plays for the College Station Cougars. Joseph comes across as the consummate team player, he's equally adept against run and pass, lines up at receiver and plays multiple roles on special teams. The exact kind of player you are looking for. Enjoy these midseason highlights:

Markel Reed is a Temple product who is another top 10 cornerback in Texas. He's a lockdown defender who is a true cornerback. Here are his mid-season highlights:

Simon Gonzalez is a 6'3" tight end. A TIGHT END! In a win over Brenham, Gonzalez had three catches for 57 yards and a touchdown. Here's some of his work from the offseason:

Tyrique Matthews is from Aldine Eisenhower in Houston, Texas. Here are some junior-year highlights from Matthews:

Trey Cleveland is a big receiver out of Arlington who looks to be the next in a long line of NFL caliber wideouts coming through Texas Tech. Cleveland had already surpassed his Junior stats 5 weeks into his Senior season. Here are some of his highlights against Byron Nelson:

Tony Bradford...where to start. First of all, I feel like I should address Tony as Mr. Bradford because he is one bad-looking dude. Enjoy these 2017 highlights, or Mr. Bradford will find you:

Bryce Robinson is a linebacker out of Sasche. While Sasche got off to a slow start, but Robinson is still making plenty of plays against some tough teams. Here are some highlights vs Trinity High School:

Keeyon Stewart is a defensive back from North Shore, where he is lighting fools up for the Mustangs. Here's Stewart against Katy:

Cameron Cantrell is a Whitehouse receiver and brother of former Red Raider Dylan Cantrell.

Jordan Sandy is a punter from Austrailia who's part of ProKick Australia.

Alan Orona is a lefty kicker from the La Grange Leopards. Here's some kicking and punting highlights from his game against Fulshear:

Chux Nwabuko III - Chux is a 5'6" 160 pound running back that is a PWO that aims to be the next Jakeem Grant. He's a running back at Hutto but is projected to be more of a gimmick player at Texas Tech. Return specialist, running back, wide receiver, the sky is the limit for Nwabuko. As a junior Nwabuko had nearly 1,000 yards rushing and about 450 yards receiving with 22 total touchdowns.
