A Big Texas Original, Twin Liquors Is Getting Set to Open in Lubbock
Twin Liquors, a multi-award-winning Texas original, has roots that date back to the 1800s in Austin. Owned and operated by the Jabour family, Twin Liquors has more than 90 locations across Texas, according to their website. And now, it's getting set to open in Lubbock at 4409 114th at Quaker Avenue.
Construction is expected to get underway next month and the opening is anticipated in November, just in time for the holidays. This very special store features premium fine wine and spirits from around the world. We can anticipate a truly unique shopping experience at Twin Liquors.
Last year, Beverage Dynamics named them the no. 1 Retailer of the Year, and this award tops their impressive list of achievements. The Jabour Family is dedicated to the community and have worked closely with many charitable organizations.
The family story of Twin Liquors' origins begins with their mercantile store in the heart of Austin in the late 1800s. Their exciting journey continues through Prohibition, and a time when their liquor store was a package store that included a drug store and soda fountain, a popular shopping experience back in the day. Through many generations of Jabours, the family liquor store has evolved into the impressive and exciting shopping experience it is today.
Their top-of-the-line customer service is completely in step with today's world. They're in touch across multiple social networking platforms and even have an app to help make shopping completely versatile.
They're taking every precaution for COVID-19 and work hard to care for the community. They shared this statement on their website:
“We believe that helping communities is an essential component of fulfilling the needs of our customers,” David Jabour, President. With that philosophy, Twin Liquors supports over 500 charitable events annually. Passion was, and always will be, the driving force of Twin Liquors. “Our love and passion for the wine and spirits industry are the seeds of our growth, and they will always be the foundation of our endeavors,” Margaret Jabour.
We look forward to this impressive, longstanding, forward-thinking retailer opening here in Lubbock. We'll keep you posted as we learn more and get closer to opening day.
