5-Vehicle Accident Injures Teacher of Lubbock-Cooper ISD
A 5-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday night involved a vehicle that belongs to Lubbock-Cooper ISD.
According to a press release, Lubbock-Cooper ISD says that a high school teacher was driving two students back to Lubbock following a student council event in Shallowater.
At Frankford and County Road 6300, the teacher's car and four other vehicles were involved in an accident. It’s unclear exactly how the pile-up occurred, but KAMC News reports it had something to do with drivers trying to avoid emergency response vehicles.
Both students inside the Lubbock-Cooper ISD vehicle were reportedly uninjured but taken to a local hospital as a precaution. The teacher suffered non-life threatening injuries.
