The rain subsided yesterday, and a Thursday night in Lubbock that can only mean one thing: college night.

That means all of Lubbock's college students were out at the Depot District and either came to class this morning with poorly scrubbed X's on their hands or a wristband that they struggled to get off in their sleep. For my LCU family, I know all of you were out at a late-night Bible study and helping the community, you were not spending any time in the Depot District. As a college town gearing up for the first Texas Tech football home game of the season, it's easy to expect people to get riled up. There's a certain red and black electricity that can be felt in the air, and that energy courses through everyone, whether they're just full of game day spirit or ready to commit a crime. In this case, it seems to be the latter.

We have a whopping 33 mugshots today for you to scroll through while enjoying your Friday lunch of Chick-fil-A with a SunJoy (I still call it an Arnold Palmer) to bring some blessings to these featured arrestees.

These 33 mugshots are of people who were arrested on Thursday, September 1st, 2022 and held in the Lubbock County Detention Center. All people featured are innocent until proven guilty and have only been charged with a crime.
