The Texas Tech Spring Game went off without any major hitches Saturday, April 17th, capping off the 2021 spring session with a win for the offense.

The Red Raider Spring Game saw some decent action, but was devoid of the big-scoring plays that usually dot the spring game. Four quarterbacks got some snaps in against various levels of Texas Tech defense. Henry Colombi started both live periods and led a drive that was capped by a Tahj Brooks touchdown. Both Xavier White and SaRodorick Thompson were out today, so the bulk of the work landed on Brooks and Chadarius Townsend.

Tyler Shough led a field goal drive to end the first live period, with both Jonathan Garibay and Trey Wolff stroking it through the uprights.

The third Texas Tech offensive score came after a big throw from Donovan Smith to Sparkman that got the Red Raiders down to the 11-yard line. The Texas Tech defense nearly held, but a 4th down throw from Smith found Bradley across the middle for the score.

The biggest cheer of the entire spring game though was for Mark Adams, and the basketball team who made an appearance between the two live periods and the drills that closed the practice out.
