2 People Killed in 2-Vehicle Accident in South Lubbock
On Sunday, July 26th, Lubbock police responded to a fatal two-vehicle accident at an intersection in South Lubbock.
According to a police report, the accident occurred at about 10:40 p.m. at the intersection of 130th Street and Slide Road. Photos taken of the accident show a Ford Focus and a Lexus SUV rolled over in a ditch.
According to police, the Ford Focus was traveling west on 130th Street when it collided with the Lexus SUV, which was traveling north on Slide Road, at the intersection.
The driver of the Focus, 25-year-old Tyler Mannino, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Mannino's passenger, identified as 26-year-old Charles Patterson, was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries. The driver of the Lexus was also pronounced dead at the scene. She has been identified as 54-year-old Tammy Endsley.
It's reported that one of the vehicles may have also had several dogs inside when the accident occurred, and Animal Control had to be called to the scene. It's unclear how many animals may have been involved or if any were injured.
