World’s Oldest WWII Veteran Lives in Texas and Will Be 109
Richard Overton from Austin, Texas in WWII in the South Pacific from 1942 to 1945.
To this day he still puts whiskey in his morning coffee and has a little more at night to help him sleep. He also smokes 12 cigars a day, something he's been doing since he was 18 years old...so 91 years!
His birthday is this Monday, but his friends and family threw him a party over the weekend. It was a great turnout, lots of friends and family, plus his neighbor actually got the president to write him a letter.
Overton says the secret to a long life is to never stop moving, and keep drinking whiskey and smoking cigars.
