On this edition of two for Tuesday are two singers who are truly mega stars in country music. George Strait and Alan Jackson.

They have both won their share of awards and number one songs. In fact George Strait has had 57 number one songs.

Both have kept to there traditional roots, rarely diverting from that "keepin' it country" persona.

In 2000 both had number one songs, Strait with "The Best Day" and Jackson with "Where I Come From".

That same year they got together and recorded the song "Murder On Music Row". It was their stand for traditional country music in light of the crossover artists that were invading country at the time.

The song won the CMA's award for vocal event.
