The Central Texas teen died in an SUV early this year had apparently let a deadly monocle cobra bite.

KVUE obtained the autopsy report and reported that 18-year-old Grant Thompson has "several bites" from the cobra on each arm and the bites show that Thompson did not try to pull away from the snake when it bit him.

The report goes on to say that Thomson, who was right-handed, first let the snake bit him on the left shoulder, which would be consistent with some right-handed person doing so on purpose.

The medical examiners said the bites "appeared to be intentional injection sites" and that Thompson has a "history of suicidal ideation."

The deadly venom causes paralysis which leads to respiratory failure and death in around half and hour.  He also had marijuana and amphetamines in his system.

Thompson was a reptile lover who worked in his family's pet store in Temple, Texas. Authorities are still curious why he was in Austin when he was found dead.
