Texas Southern Women’s Team Brawls Over the Weekend With Rival Southern

The teams began fighting after Texas Southern's Miracle Davis took a charge underneath her team's basket.

It was a highly contested game as both teams were 16-2 going for the Southwestern Athletic Conference women's regular-season title. Initially. it was called a double-forfeit, but later Southern was awarded the win since they were leading 51-49 at the time of the incident.

TSU's Alexus Johnson and Diamonisha Sophus were the two players throwing punches. From the video it appears more than players were involved. Cheerleaders, fans and even assistant coaches were part of the action.
