Texas Country's Flatland Cavalry hits the stage outside under the signs at Lubbock's Cook's Garage (11002 Highway 87) on Saturday,  September 12th.

This will be another great socially distanced show under the stars. They are asking us to bring a bag chair and Cook's Garage has posted an extensive 'Public Warning' regarding COVID-19 on their website.

Lonestar had the opportunity to talk to Flatland Cavalry's lead singer Cleto Cordero the spring of 2019 and he shared how proud he is to be from Lubbock. They were getting set to play Cotton Fest at Cook's Garage and were just celebrating the release of their new album, their sophomore album, 'Homeland Insecurity'.

Cordero shared the challenges faced in writing on the road. He's penned many songs and shares his passion for the music and gratitude for their success. You can hear our interview with Cordero below!

Flatland Cavalry gives us a lot to look forward and always delivers a fantastic show! The Cavalry includes Cleto Cordero, guitarist Reid Dillon, bassist Jonathan Saenz, drummer Jason Albers, and newest member, fiddle player Wesley Hall.

This is a band that truly embraces our hub city spirit with their song titled 'Lubbock'. This is where Cordero's music dreams and writing launched. He shaped his career here and in our interview he shares much of his inspiration and calls Lubbock "great for dreamers".

Flatland Cavalry's show September 12th kicks off at 8:30 pm and doors open at 7 pm. Tickets start at $25. You can follow this link for tickets and details! Get set for what is sure to be a tremendous night!
