The all-Lubbock marching band will be marching in the Rose Bowl parade January 2 and they're still raising money for the trip. This site recently announced they'd reached their fund raising goal of $550,00 but the collecting continues. They've had varying sales, car washes, and even a huge concert,  and now they are wrapping Christmas presents for donations. This weekend students will be at Campus Design at 4505 98th, with wrapping to begin at 4 p.m.; on Saturday, they'll be back at Campus Design at 10 a.m. and also at the House of Furniture at 28th and Q at 11 a.m. The band, wearing Texas flag-inspired uniforms is made up of 485 students from Lubbock High, Monterey, Coronado and Estacado High School and is the only band from Texas marching in the nationally-broadcast parade. Let them help you out with your Christmas and it'll help them out with their New Year.
