More than 20 inches of rain in part of Texas have left rivers raging.

The Blanco and San Gabriel rivers have burst their banks and caused extensive damage. Wimberly TX, has possibly seen the worst with many houses destroyed or damaged.

All the major news agencies are in Texas as bridges were washed out and more than 2000 people have been evacuated. According to a report from ABC news 18-year old Alyssa Ramirez, a student at Devine High School died Saturday driving home from her school's prom after her car got stuck in floodwater.

Today Texas and Oklahoma are expecting more rain which could cause even more extensive damage.
