It's probably not all that rare that a pair of twins is born on separate days. But this last weekend twins born in Minnesota were not only born on separate days, but separate years! And this site reports it happened in Buffalo, New York as well! At Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis premature siblings were born and are healthy and doing well. Beckett Humenny was born Saturday night, New Year's Eve at 6:40 p.m. and his twin sister Fraeya waited until after midnight at 12:26 a.m. Sunday, New Year's Day to emerge. In Buffalo, twins Ronan and Rory Rosputni were born a bit closer together. Ronan at 11:37 p.m. Saturday and Rory at 12:10 a.m. Sunday. It was a Happy New Year for all around as all four babies and happy parents are doing very well. It'll be excellent fodder for future stories!
