Mike Ryan Performs ‘Bad Reputation’ + More Live at the Lonestar 99.5 Studio

Texas country musician Mike Ryan has been selling out venues in Lubbock and across the state. We were lucky enough to have the singer-songwriter in the Lonestar 99.5 FM studios for a live acoustic performance.

Ryan performed three songs for us: "Bad Reputation," "Damn Good Goodbye" and "Dancing All Around It." He's in town with his band to play at Wild West Lubbock tonight (Friday, Oct. 2).

The singer's had a whirlwind year full of ups and downs -- but mostly ups.

Buddy Logan, host of Radio Texas, Live!, heard Saturday nights from 7 p.m. to midnight on Lonestar 99.5 FM, has Ryan's song "Dancing All Around It" at no. 4 on his list of the top 100 Texas Country songs.

Last year, Ryan and his band also got the privilege of recording their album, Bad Reputation album at Brad Paisley's house. Not too shabby! Ryan now writes for Paisley's production company.

Despite having the majority of his equipment stolen in May of this year, Ryan and his band remain upbeat, courageous and undaunted in their passion and pursuit of Texas country music. He told us that they just kept on trucking despite the crime and replaced a lot of the equipment.
