Entertainment Means Music, Chili Cookoff and Pancake Festival
This weekend is one of many entertainment choices running the gamut from music, to food, to live theater. First of all music-wise you can pick from venues like Triple J’s in the Depot where Junior Vasquez is performing Friday and D.G.Flewellen on Saturday. Or across the street at the Cactus you’ve got a choice between music of the 40s and 50s on Friday to a rockin’ 60s night on Saturday.
The fabulous Leslie Sawyer will have a CD release party for her new offering, “Girl with a Fish Bowl” at Tornado Gallery on Sunday, Feb. 19 from 5-8 p.m. Her guests will be pretty special too. The likes of Kenny Maines, Andy Wkilkinson, Cary Swinney and several others will celebrate with her and the public of course is invited to the fun.
