A heroic act doesn't have to be life-saving. It can be helping someone financially, or just inspiring someone by being a role model. Sick and tired of negative news out of Washington, high crime and violence affecting so many people, a Denver film production company is recruiting people to sign up to be a hero. That's why they've created The Hero 365 Program. Through the program, Dream Maker Films is asking people to take the pledge to do at least one heroic deed a day for a year.

Wanting a better and safer world, they hope to gather a million heroes worldwide by the end of the year. The Director of Media Relations, Donald Berlin, says, "We're looking for the first 100,000 in the next two weeks...helping to inspire just 100,000 people, we will have inspired more than three and a half billion good deeds and the world could use that right now".
