Texas Tech University Holds Cell Phone Drive for Soldiers
A Texas Tech University student, senior geophysics major from Austin, Jeffrey Poole, is a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army; and he is coordinating a special event throughout the month of April for the Texas Tech Veterans Association. It's "Cell Phones for Soldiers", a non-profit campaign collecting old, used and even broken phones which are sold to refurbishing companies.
