The women of Nashville's Song Suffragettes had their work cut out for them at a recent Monday night show, stripping down Thomas Rhett and Maren Morris' hit "Craving You" for an acoustic cover.

Krysta Nick, Lena Stone, Kalie Shorr, Carly Burruss and Abbey Cone were all on the bill for the #LetTheGirlsPlay show at the Listening Room on Aug. 28, with Stone leading the group on acoustic guitar and taking the first lead vocal. Shorr and all of the other singers got their moments to shine on the up-tempo cover, which stripped away the glossy pop production of Rhett's recording with Morris and left them to stand on their own strong performances.

"Craving You" was the first single from Rhett's upcoming third studio album, Life Changes, which is set for release on Sept. 8. The song has already reached No. 1.

The weekly Song Suffragettes shows serve as a showcase for Nashville's most promising female singer-songwriters, and each show ends with a group cover. Shorr has been a breakout artist from the program, scoring a hit at SiriusXM with "Fight Like a Girl."

Taste of Country named Shorr as one of our RISERS for 2017. Watch her share an original song titled "Nothin' New" at the RISERS shoot below. Shorr also took part in a photo shoot for RISERS and spoke to ToC about "Fight Like a Girl."
