They are undefeated. They have bagged to big time wins, one over Oklahama State here in Lubbock and the other on the road at Missouri. Now the Lady Raiders are ranked #10 in the latest Associated Press poll.

Tech hasn't been ranked this high in seven years, when they were ranked 10th in the country. The Lady Raiders are standing at 14-0 overall and 2-0 in the Big 12.

Watching this team play you can see the chemistry they have. They work together and each player knows their roll on the team.

There is a never give up attitude. That has become clear in the last two games. Both were close but the players that are supposed to make big plays, made the big plays to win.

Against Missouri coach Kristy Curry has great production off the bench as well. Example, Chynna Brown came off the bench and helped Tech battle back from a nine point deficit, scoring 17 points.

One is as a team you don't want to get caught up in the excitement of such a high ranking. It's nice now, but it's more important at the end of the year heading into tournament time.

The Lady Raiders are one of four undefeated teams in the country and they and Baylor are the only two unbeatens in the Big 12.

Tech will have another tough test on the road this week as they travel to Norman, Oklahoma to play the Sooner this Wednesday night.
