Starting Thursday, September 17th, east 50th Street will be reduced to one-lane of traffic in each direction at the railroad crossing west of MLK Jr. Boulevard in Lubbock.
Starting Thursday, October 17th, the City of Lubbock will begin a seal-coat paving project on the East 24th Street railroad bridge near Southeast Drive and East 24th.
On Monday, August 19th, the Texas Department of Transportation will close the north and southbound lanes of East Loop 289 from 19th Street to Spur 331.
The three-mile stretch of US 87 from 82nd Street to just south of FM 1585 will be under construction for the next six months according to a TxDOT press release.
