I don't know how anyone could hate cold pizza. It got some of us through college and it's the breakfast of champions for anyone who needs comfort carbs on the way to work. Cold pizza does have its haters, but in Texas, there is one food that is despised more than that.
Tomorrow (Wednesday, Feb. 21) is the Grand Opening of Hungry Howie's Pizza at 7717 Milwaukee Ave., and 102.5 KISS FM will be there from 10:30 a.m. - noon to celebrate flavored-crust pizza.
But seriously, National Pizza Day is coming up Friday, February 9th and we have a list of some local places that will be doing some specials for that day.
Fact: everybody who isn't a monster loves the smell of pizza. But that doesn't mean that Pizza Hut should be making a pizza-scented perfume. Especially because their pizza is exempt from the "everybody loves the smell of pizza" clause. But they're doing it anyway.
