Throughout the history of "Texas Music" there have been certain artists that stepped forward as... "leaders" per-say. These leaders made headway for the rest of our favorite artists. In the beginning, we had Pat Green, Cory Morrow and Roger Creager step up, followed by Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen etc etc etc.

JAB Fest, named after Josh Abbott Band, is back in Lubbock on Sept. 22nd. EVERY country music lover in Texas should plan to not miss this event and I'll tell you why!

It's always nice to hear good news like this. Cory Morrow, a Texas Country favorite, is a proud father of not just one, but two sons, now!

JAB Fest returns to Lubbock on Saturday, September 22, at the Lonestar Amphitheater. This year looks to be the biggest yet thanks to the stellar lineup, headlined by none other than Josh Abbott.

The Josh Abbott Band have been well known in Texas and surrounding states for years but they're finally getting the attention country wide that they deserve. So big that over the past couple of years JAB has been able to do their own Festival. Well, JAB Fest returns this September with a huge lineup that is going to blow Lubbock away.

Pat Green and his label have finally decided to release the song "Austin." KQBR.COM posted "Austin" May 28th of 2011 and it received several thousand hits over the next few months. So what we would like to do is put it to the test once again...

Cory Morrow, a former Texas Tech Red Raider and a Texas country music godfather, rolled through Lubbock late last month. Back to where the music all started for Morrow; playing the local scene and gaining popularity along the way. Morrow wasn’t always the superstar he is today in the Lone Star state and in country music; he saw his fair share of ups and downs throughout his life.

It's an eight day Texas and Oklahoma tour set to stop at three military bases and five college towns. Cory Morrow will be playing and mentoring with the Dirty River Boys as they stop over in Lubbock while touring in the Red Bull Tour Bus. The bus, a one of a kind bus made from a 1984 GMC Eagle, is the coolest stage ever built on wheels...

One of elder statesman of the Texas Country sound is Cory Morrow. He will be recording a live album this Friday night at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth.
