Sun Puts On a First Class Show [VIDEO]

The Northern lights will be peaking this weekend if not before due to the huge solar explosions on the Sun's surface in recent days. The biggest radiation and geomagnetic storms the Earth has experienced in 5 years. Weather experts say that the blasts should hit by US time Thursday and last through Friday disrupting power grids, GPS, satellite broadcasts, and even Jet flights. The solar flares alone have already caused high frequency blackouts according to the NOAA. Major airlines have already re-planned their flights away from polar regions of the Earth in expectation of the massive amounts of solar radiation.
