Investigators with the Lubbock Police Department continue to seek information that leads to the identification and arrest of a suspect involved in a robbery back on Saturday, January 16th.

A police report states that officers responded to an aggravated robbery call at around 8:15 p.m. It's said that a suspect, wearing a blue shirt, black pants and black beanie, entered the Burger King at 5112 Slide Road with a handgun.

The suspect approached the front counter and pointed the gun at one of the victims, demanding them give him money. After he removed cash from the business, he fled on foot. It's said that the suspect fled southbound before turning westbound.

Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

LPD believes that this robbery is connected to another robbery that happened just around 30 minutes later. Another aggravated robbery happened at a Dairy Queen at 726 US 62 in Wolfforth. Whether or not that robber was seen wearing the same attire as the Burger King robber or any other information that possibly links the 2 hasn't been publicly stated.

Anyone who may have information on the identity of the suspect involved in either of these aggravated robbery cases should call Crime Line at 806-741-1000 or Detective Jesse Akins at 806-775-2815. Crime Line callers have the option to remain anonymous while giving tips.
