
Grandkid Now Charged With Murder After Attacking Texas Public Servant
Lewisville, Texas Police were called to the home of the member's serving as a Denton County Commissioner for an attack in progress just before 4 AM this morning, and quickly rushed to the aid of Denton County Commissioner Bobbie Mitchell after she and her husband Fred Mitchell had been stabbed. According to the officers on sight, the couple's grandchild was named as the suspect, and he was still at the residence upon the arrival of first responders.

Commissioner Mitchell serves as the representative for Denton County's 3rd precinct, and has been listed as stable condition following being stabbed by her own grandson that bears the family's last name, he has been identified as 23 year old Mitchell Blake Reinacher. According to this KHOU article, when police arrived they heard screaming coming from inside, and apprehended Reinacher before they could render aid to his victims.

Commissioner Mitchell's family has expressed gratitude that the matriarch of their family is still with us, and the community is quickly rallying around the family in support of a public servant that has been active in the community for over 30 years. Commissioner Mitchell is a trailblazer in her commitment her fellow residents, and prior to serving on as a commissioner was the first black female mayor in Lewisville's history.
