Maren Morris makes her Austin City Limits debut on Saturday night (Feb. 11), joining the next installment of the series with a 13-song set of some of her biggest hits to date. A native of Texas, Morris says that she's waited quite a while to perform on the ACL stage.

Ahead of her full performance, fans can get an exclusive peek into the set with Taste of Country. In this clip from the show, Morris delivers a soulful live rendition of "The Bones," a breakout mega-hit off her 2019 studio album, Girl. Before she launches into her performance, watch Morris reflect on the magnitude of her appearance on Austin City Limits, which she says she often watched as a child.

"It's a really big deal," the singer says. "And my parents are listening to the livestream right now. I'll come back anytime y'all invite me. This is really fun."

She also took a moment to thank her fans for the momentum behind "The Bones," which made it up to the top of the country radio charts and also crossed over onto pop and rock radio, ultimately achieving quadruple platinum certification and becoming one of the biggest country songs of 2020. That success came as a little bit of a surprise, since "The Bones" is a mid-tempo, slow-burn ballad — not the kind of hooky, high-energy anthem that is more typical of crossover mega-hits of its caliber.

"Thank you for taking this song we're about to do to heights I never knew existed with music, and just making it even more poignant to me," Morris says from the stage. "So, sing along if you know it."

Now in its 48th season, ACL kicked its current run of performances off in October with a premiere that featured Brandi Carlile. In addition to being a prominent solo artist in her own right, Carlile is a member of country supergroup the Highwomen, which also features Morris.

Season 48 of Austin City Limits will run through late February, concluding with a salute to Texas songwriting legend Joe Ely.
