Will Texas Chick-fil-A Locations Get These Amazing Delivery Robot Vehicles?
We all know the service industry is changing. Walk into fast food restaurants now and some locations have giant iPads to order from and to pay at. Many people use an app on their phone to order from and pick up inside or curbside. And while that experience will evolve, another will as well. Delivery service.
Many fast food joints and restaurants want to claw back deliveries from 3rd party vendors, but they don't really want to have employees on the roads. So that means some companies are testing out autonomous vehicles for close by deliveries. And one of those companies is Chick-fil-A.
Chick-fil-A began testing out a delivery robots back in 2022 and one of the test cities with two locations was actually Austin at 6th and Congress and MLK Jr. Boulevard according to Spectrum News.
According to WSB-TV, a metro Atlanta store is testing out delivery robot vehicles.
Will Texas Get Autonomous Delivery Vehicles for Chick-fil-A?

Maybe one day. For now, I'll just continue using the app and pick-up my food.
