The Roof Closes Permanently in Lubbock
You've probably driven by... or underneath The Roof many times over the last 13 years. Sitting high atop the Raider Park garage on the Marsha Sharp Freeway across from Jones AT&T Stadium, The Roof bar quickly became a favorite among Texas Tech students, alumni, visitors, and locals.
While restaurants have struggled in the past to make things work, The Roof has worked for 13 years. On Monday, The Roof took to Instagram to announce that it was closing for good, but not because of bad business or the economy. But because of who now owns and manages the property.
