Companies all over the world just can't seem to get enough of the Lone Star State, and the recent addition is just one of many examples over the recent years.

PEAK6 Investments LLC

If you haven't heard of this company before, it's essentially a hi-tech opportunity firm for large and small businesses. According to their website, they are "innovators, investors, collaborators, and amplifiers of progressive technology solutions."

With locations in Texas, New Jersey and Nebraska, PEAK6 also has global offices in Budapest, Hungary and Belfast, N. Ireland.

According to a recent release from the company, they are actually moving their global headquarters from Chicago to Austin.

PEAK6 is Texas-Bound!

It was recently announced that the investment company will relocate their global HQ to Austin effective Jan. 1, 2025.

The company's presence in the Lone Star State is nothing new, as they are merely moving operations to their existing office in Austin that has been around since 2021.

Co-Founder and Co-CEO Matt Hulsizer stated that the decision was relatively easy to make, as the Austin office was quick to show promise.

"With the majority of our talented workforce now based in Texas and Austin emerging as our largest office, moving our headquarters was an important decision to be closer to our team," Hulsizer stated.

PEAK6 is just the latest in the slew of major companies packing up and heading south to relocate to Texas.

Within the past couple of years, companies like Tesla, Hewlett Packard, and Chevron have made the move to the Lone Star State.

Who knows what others we'll see by 2030!
