
Lubbock Extends Its Movies in the Park Series For The Summer
One of the great things that the City of Lubbock puts on during the summer is the Movies in the Park series. It's a great, family-friendly event that brings the community together, and gets people out of the house and enjoying the parks we have around Lubbock.
Oh and did I mention it's free to attend?
Movies in the Park Extended for Summer 2025
The Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department announced on Thursday that they would be extending the Movies in the Park series until August 9th. The City said extending the series will allow everyone to enjoy the event and the parks.

So what movies will be playing and which park will they be at? Here's a list from the City of Lubbock:

Park Activities Before the Movie
Beginning at 6:00pm each night there is a movie at the selected park, there will be activities taking place. The movies will begin each night at 8:30pm. Everyone is encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets along with snacks. Popcorn will be available on first come first served basis.
