It is Election Day and voters across Texas will be heading to the polls. In some cases voters will have local issues to decide, but across the state, Texas voters will cast ballots on 17 different Constitutional Amendments.

Tuesday, November 4, Election Day in Texas

The 17 amendments that Texans are voting on all passed the Texas Legislature with a 2/3 majority vote. Most of the proposed amendments have to deal with lowering taxes. Several of the amendment would impact different Texans like homeowners, businesses, spouses of veterans, the elderly, and more. There is also an amendment that would fund water infrastructure projects in Texas.

Polls opened in Texas at 7:00 a.m and they will close at 7:00 p.m.
