Perfect Weather Ahead For The Lubbock Area? It’s Possible
I can't promise you anything, really no one can when it comes to the weather in West Texas, but we might be in a period of fantastic, if not perfect weather for at least the next week, if not longer.
Fall? Is That You?
Wednesday and Thursday mornings were both on the chilly side. If you were up early enough you probably needed a hoodie or light jacket if you were running around outside. But moving forward over the next week or two, we won't even sniff freezing temperatures in the Lubbock area. Well, Saturday it will be around 39 for the low, but even that isn't too bad.

High temperatures on Friday will be in the mid-70's with high's Saturday in the upper 60's to low 70's. As we head into next week we can expect high's in the upper 70's or low 80's. Then another dip into the 70's next weekend.
Oh and sunny skies for the next 10 days too. At least that's what the forecast says right now.
The Weather In West Texas Could Still Change
As great as the next two weeks look, we all know it could drastically change one way or the other. High's in 70's sound perfect to me. That means it feels great outdoors and I'm not having to run the AC as much.
So maybe, just maybe the weather around here will stay perfect for a little bit.
By the way, temperatures during trick or treating on Halloween? Expect upper 60's in the Lubbock area. Not bad!
