As much as I love to get out and explore new places, I have a hard time getting comfortable in hotels and Airbnbs. So, if you’re like me and have a difficult time sleeping anywhere other than your own bedroom, this one is for you. 

Don’t get me wrong – I'm adaptable. I spent 5 years in the Navy, after all. It’s just that it takes me a while to adapt. I usually get used to my new surroundings about the time I’m wrapping up my stay.

But, as I said, I love to get out and try new places. I also love the Texas Hill Country. It’s my favorite place to vacation in the Lone Star State. So, the wife and I are going to have to book a stay at Horseshoe Bay Resort near Austin.

Sleep Junkie recognized the Hill Country resort as the hotel where you get the best sleep in Texas. And while that’s certainly a plus, one look at their website and you’ll see that sleeping isn’t at the top of most folks’ minds when headed there.

Horseshoe Bay Resort has a ton of things to do, like golf, racquet sports, a marina, and much more. This makes me think people sleep so well there due to being worn out from the day’s activities. Well, that and of course, a few drinks always make for some good sleeping.
