In a chilling moment that felt ripped from a Final Destination movie, a section of a Texas bridge suddenly gave way — and the dramatic collapse was captured on video by a passing motorist, turning an ordinary drive into a scene of terrifying chaos.

According to reports from the Texas Department of Transportation, bridge collapses in Texas are relatively rare. That being said, Texas still leads the country in the number of bridges in poor structural condition, suggesting that they probably fall more frequently here than anywhere else in the United States.

I read through hundreds of comments on the video, and several of them state that the bridge was closed after being struck by a crane and is located in Tulia. Luckily, nobody has been allowed to drive across it...but...

Driving under it, you can see, is a different story. Something horrible could have happened to someone. This video is going to give me a complex, y'all. I'm going to struggle driving under a bridge for the rest of my dang life now.
