J&B Coffee, located at 2701 26th Street in Lubbock, Texas, announced on Facebook this morning that they are now under new ownership. The Cline family has passed the buck to Tyler and DJ Sutton, a couple who met and fell in love at the coffee shop.

The beloved Lubbock coffee house took the time to thank its many customers for years of unwavering support and love in a thoughtful post online:

"To our incredible customers, thank you for your unwavering support and trust throughout the years. It has been an honor to serve you, and your loyalty has been the foundation of our success. Every interaction, every smile, and every moment shared has meant the world to me. I am genuinely proud of what we have built together."

The Sutton family seems thrilled to take over the business that is responsible for so  many fond memories, and introduced themselves in an additional Facebook post:

If you grew up in Lubbock, you probably have plenty of fond memories of J&B Coffee. My friends and I used to gather there to study for tests back in college. The vibes were always perfect. I imagine J&B will continue to be a classic coffee joint in our city for years to come.

Congratulations to the store's new owners, Tyler and DJ Sutton. May you and your family carry on the legacy with grace and have the best time doing it.

I can't wait to pop by and have a cup soon. I've been craving Cherry Blossom tea lately. Feels like a good season for it.
