The Lubbock Homebody’s Guide to Having a Perfect Day Off
Having the day off in Lubbock does NOT mean you have to make the most of it.
Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do for yourself is absolutely friggin' nothing.
You need a break. You need to rest. There's nothing wrong with taking an entire day to truly relax, recharge, and calm the rage burning deep inside of you, brought on by none other than Greg from accounting...
Here's the best homebody itinerary for a well-deserved day off in Lubbock:
Step 1 - Wake up and cancel everything.
Someone asks what you're doing today?
Don't even respond.
Let the wonder.
Step 2 - Stay in your jammies.
Never wear jeans at home.
I think it's actually against the law in most states...
Step 3 - Feed the kitties.
They've been staring at you for approximately 7 minutes, and you know exactly why.
Toss them a few treats while you're at it.
Today is all about happiness.
They deserve a little fun too.
Step 4 - Make something unnecessarily delicious to eat.
Go ahead, use a whole stick of butter in your macaroni and cheese.
I won't tell.
Neither will the cats.
Step 5 - Turn on your preferred streaming platform.
It's time to spend 7 hours learning how to get away with murder.
Or...watching cartoons.
Whatever floats your little day-off boat.
Step 6 - Nap.
Repeat this step as many times as you like throughout the day.
(The sweet spot is 3.)
Step 8 - Order food.
You aren't putting on pants or a bra today, so takeout is the way to go.
I highly recommend a pasta sampler from Orlando's.
(Fyi, tastes great in the nude.)
There you have it, folks.
The perfect day off.
