International Student Discovered ‘Shot to Death’ in Texas Apartment

21-year-old Muna Pandey, an international student from Nepal who came to the United States to study nursing, was discovered shot to death in her Houston apartment last Saturday night. Her apartment complex called 911 after receiving an anonymous call there was a body in her apartment.

According to DailyMail, her body was found "riddled with gunshot wounds" and the person responsible remains at large. Police are looking for a man seen on surveillance footage leaving Pandey's apartment on Saturday.

Family sources have stated that Pandey was in a relationship with a white American man, and have also expressed concerns about their relationship. The mother of the slain student also reported she was unable to reach her by cell phone for 3 days leading up to the discovery of her body.

At this time, there is no known motive.

The nursing student is said to have been "full of life, kindness, and joy" and that her "bubbly personality and infectious laughter made every moment brighter."
