Blue Bell recently took to social media to tease a new flavor- but could it be the return of a classic from when we were kids?

The social media post is of the picture below with the following text:

New logo? That’s bananas! It's more like a new flavor clue.

My first thought was a Blue Bell X Reece's collab, which, in all honesty, would be amazing- that particular flavor of peanut butter absolutely does it for me. However, we cannot ignore "that's bananas!"

So maybe Reece's peanut butter and chocolate in banana-flavored ice cream? Or just regular peanut butter and banana? My money is on some version of that, however, some folks speculated this could indicate the return of an absolute classic...

FUDGESTIX!

And a flood of happy childhood memories came back to me- whenever I had a little extra lunch money, I would buy these for dessert at school (and if you went to school in Texas, you probably did, too).

This was my favorite comment from the Facebook post:

Y’all better be bringing back the banana fudge bars or I’ll riot!
We the people are SICK of waiting!
You tell 'em!

Yes, there are other brands of banana and fudge popsicles, but Fudestix were the best, of course, because our Blue Bell made them.

Whatever Blue Bell ends up releasing, I'm sure it will be excellent. However, I will say the brand responded to many of the comments except for the ones mentioning Reece's or Fudgestix... so I am suspicious it is one of those two options.

Fuddruckers began in San Antonio in 1979. At its height in the late 90s, there were 150 Fuddruckers locations. Now only 54 remain, with 6 of those in the dubious state of "temporarily" closed.
