David Gibbs on What He Expects From This Year’s Texas Tech Defensive Line [Interview]

David Gibbs returns for his second season Texas Tech's Defensive Coordinator. He talked to 1340 The Fan about the transitions with new coaches on his defensive staff.

"It's going good. It was hard going through the transition. We made some changes which was hard on everybody, but at the end of the day, when don't play very good defense you've got to make some changes," Gibbs told 1340 The Fan's Rob Breaux.

Gibbs also talked about his improved defensive line.

"I expect our defensive line to do a lot better," he said. "We have a lot more depth than we had last year. It'll be young depth, which is not always good, it will be inexperienced. I think our defensive line will be much improved."
