Zach Galifianakis Saves Elderly Woman from Homelessness [VIDEO]

You don't have to love Country or be Country to appreciate this story. You can just be sick of all the bad things going on in the world and this story will make you all fuzzy inside again to know that not all Celebrities are jerks.

Not every celebrity takes complete advantage of the fame. Take Zach Galifianakis for example.

Here's a guy who moved into an apartment in L.A. where he was trying to make it big, did, and never forgot the nice little old lady from the Laundry Mat around the corner! :)

This is Elizabeth 'Mimi' Haist, and she met Zach while working at the Fox Laundry Mat around the corner from his apartment.

She's no stranger to the red carpet herself because Zach has invited her on several occasions to attend the movie premieres of his films as his date! How sweet is that!!!

“If he’s in town, he takes me. Otherwise he lets me take a friend. I dress up nice and a friend helps me with my makeup. It’s fun, not something I’ve ever dreamed I’d experience. The limo takes me home afterwards,” said Haist.

At one point, Ms. Haist found herself homeless, but after Zach found this news out he came to her rescue like a knight in shining armor! He found a small apartment for her and pays for the rent and utilities so she can live comfortably without having to worry about ever being homeless again.

We tip out hats off to you, Zach! You're another great example of what a real man is!
